Just some photos I’ve taken the past several days of progress on the layout. I also did a thorough track cleaning yesterday and ran trains, switching out cars in their appropriate industry sidings. Today I was able to place the completed ADM elevator on the layout which is pictured below.

I have been a railfan since the age of 6, and a modeler since the age of fourteen. This is my first truly, fully (well not quite) completed model railroad. Even though I have worked in retail recently, I fell in love with trains early in life, ride them when I can, have volunteered on many steam fan trips, have belonged to several model rr clubs, and did a stint as a brakeman/conductor on a midwest regional railroad. I've recently been published in Model Railroader magazine. I hope all of you enjoy my site!
