With it still in the low to mid-nineties, not much operating has been going on. However, I’ve been busy working on a few projects. One was weathering and installing a few more of the 3D printed concrete K rail barriers. The other project was finally sealing the baseboards in the entire garage with a combination of FlexSeal tape and caulk. The latter project I finished earlier today.
It looks finally like a cool down starting Monday with highs in the seventies, so some operating will be in order next week. Stay tuned…

I have been a railfan since the age of 6, and a modeler since the age of fourteen. This is my first fully (well not quite) completed model railroad. I fell in love with trains early in life, ride them when I can, have volunteered on many steam fan trips and have ridden many more steam excursion trips, have belonged to several model rr clubs, and did a stint as a brakeman/conductor on a midwest regional railroad. My layout was published in Model Railroader magazine in 2016. I hope all of you enjoy the ride here on my sites! I now have the second blog/website up for my other hobby: wargaming with Flames Of War. I have been involved in wargaming off and on since my teens......

I always wanted to go to Colorado, but with those temps… (I like it 20F) It’s been 40-60 here already.

Colorado is a beautiful state, especially the mountains, but the weird weather anymore makes one weary, from 96 in September to blizzards in May
