Due to the recent snow storms, I’ve been unable to get out to the layout. Instead, in between daily family chores and work, I’ve started work again on several projects that have been sitting on the workbench for awhile.
One project is taking this ex-UPS pup trailer and turning it into a commercial trailer from the era I model, specifically a Campbell Trucking “Humpin’ To Please” trailer, which i already had decals for. So far I have one coat of Vallejo grey on the trailer body, plus I’ve weathered up the chassis and wheels a bit as shown below:
The next simple project was weathering this older B&O coal hopper a bit more including some patched areas as shown below:
Finally, the last project is simple as well, just adding ACI panels to the Greenville and Northern boxcar shown below. Two fairly simple projects to keep me busy while we go through an early winter here.
