I picked up this building yesterday for free from my local Hobbytown for the upcoming expansion. This building was built I assume some time ago, and was in a display case. I inquired about buying this small building, and instead the owner gave it to me. I’m not sure who made this kit, but it looks like a DPM kit from Woodland Scenics.
I’ll leave this building the same color, and will probably only paint the doors. I will add window glass and window treatments from City Classics to the building however. This building will be used on one of the sidings on the expansion. Slowly putting the pieces together….

I have been a railfan since the age of 6, and a modeler since the age of fourteen. This is my first fully (well not quite) completed model railroad. I fell in love with trains early in life, ride them when I can, have volunteered on many steam fan trips and have ridden many more steam excursion trips, have belonged to several model rr clubs, and did a stint as a brakeman/conductor on a midwest regional railroad. My layout was published in Model Railroader magazine in 2016. I hope all of you enjoy the ride here on my sites! I now have the second blog/website up for my other hobby: wargaming with Flames Of War. I have been involved in wargaming off and on since my teens......

Put the whole building on top of a base that’s high enough to use as a loading dock using the side shown. Extend it in front of the building to be able to load/unload 2 cars. If your layout space permits, the dock could be extended to either side for an additional car(s). Andy Jackson Santa Fe Springs CA

Thanks Andy for the suggestion! Not sure if this is going to be the main building on the siding, or part of a larger building/complex, but your idea is a good one….
